Concrete Walkway and Bronze Statue Cleaning Before and After
Concrete can take pressure. A statue cannot. Here is one of each, and why we match the method to the material.

The concrete walkway
The before photo shows a curved concrete walkway with brick edging and landscaping. The lower half is dark and stained. The lighter stripe near the top of the photo had already been cleaned when the picture was taken, which shows how dark the rest of the concrete was. In the after photo the whole area is an even light gray.

The statue
The before photo is a bronze statue of two children climbing over rocks. The whole figure is covered in a yellow-green film. In the after photo the film is gone. The statue is a dark green-bronze color, and the folds of the shirt and the details of the figure show clearly again.
Why the method matters
- Concrete is hard and can take higher pressure, which is how stained walkways, driveways and slabs come back to a clean, even color.
- Statues and fountains are not something to blast. The method has to fit the material so the surface is not damaged.
- Public and commercial spaces. A stained walkway and a green statue are the kind of details visitors notice without knowing why a place feels neglected.
